GREAT VIDEO!

My good friend, Ken Goldman, just sent me this video.  I wanted to share his process with everyone.  I love it.  Hope you do, too!

Myrna,

Thank you so much for putting up my time lapse portrait painting. It's an honor to be seen on the portrait master's blog. Enjoyed scrolling down to see how busy you've been. See you in San Diego when you next visit.

Makes one pause and compare. I like how the colors he paints and the piled on layers all harmonize at the end. I was wondering if it wasn't all going to end up mud, but it sure didn't.

Wow! I watched it 4 times and expect to watch it more. Amazing. He is loose, lets it drip, made what I thought was a mess, and then brought it all together. He is not the least bit afraid of a variety of bright colors and brings it to very dark values. Suddenly, it's a molded, 3-D face, with character. Wow! (oh I said that already, didn't I?) Thanks for sharing this.
