WORKING IN A SERIES!

Here is another in the series I am doing, tentatively titled "Evelin's Friends".  Usually the images look better after I photoshop them, but this time, the actual painting color looks better in person.  Duplicating the color exactly is beyond my skill, but you can get the idea.  I will try and rephotograph the image when I get home.  This series is a little different than how I usually work.  I am taking a number of older people and creating "conversations" with each combination.  I have the next one planned out.  Hopefully, I will get  chance to start it on Tuesday.

Hi Myrna,
Great work. I love the quiet, introspective looks on these two "seasoned veterans". Just beautiful.
And you'll be pleased to know, "Bozzetto Number 3", is keeping me company in my studio every day. It's an inspiration and a joy to see.
Sincerely,
Gary

Thank you, all! This is one of those paintings that show up when you keep mixing it up and trying new ideas. I appreciate all the support.

I love this closer up composition because I feel like I am sitting with them. The colors, transparancy, layers and amazing technique drew me to this paintng.
