HAPPY THANKSGIVING, NOW BACK TO WORK!

I am happily back in the studio.  I managed to get 3 more bozzettos painted today.  I am going to present them one at a time!  Not much of the painted collage papers are winding up visible, but I think they still have an impact on the total piece.   This is Scott, our nephew.  He was just learning to read when we got married 50 years ago and now he has more grey hair than I do.  Ah, what a miracle hair dye is!
A wonderful family celebration a few weeks ago netted some great photos for my files.  I do get tired of  painting my own face.

Oh what a fabulous piece!! I do hope you will give this to him as a gift because it is spectacular! These are called bozetto's?

Thanks, Sherry. This is one segment with nine sections. I only cut them apart if I ruin one of the pieces. I may paint a larger individual piece, later.

Love the way you simplify the light/shade.

Thanks, Jo. I have been experimenting with PS Touch app for iPad. It is a version of Photoshop Elements for digital devices. If you have it, try Charcoal. It separates the values into light, dark and mid. Very useful for simplifying.
