Another deli paper background. Pretty busy surface to put a drawing on top. Added a little white for definition.
I am challenging myself to work on my art every day and create a minimum of 2 finished pieces each week. My intention is to explore ideas and techniques and push myself beyond my comfort zone. I will be working in a series with several different images. My interests at this time are drawing, line, texture and color. I will be posting exercises and challenges for myself and any others who wish to join in the Creativity Journey.

The background is perfect and places nice color on the lips and cheekbones.
I cannot tell you how much this series has meant to me. I happily anticipate each post and explore all the subtle nuances of the paper preparation before and afterwards with the drawings on it.
I think you are genuinely brilliant at drawing and obviously are in love with line. This transfers itself back to me and makes me feel good about admiring your work.
Go Myrna! I'm enjoying watching you develop your group of 50. I particularly like how you feature your drawing! Fun and inspiring!
Hi Julie, Thank you for such a nice comment. I see that you are doing smaller works and they are gorgeous. Love your painterly approach.
Hi Peggy! So nice to hear from you again. I have lost track of you without your blog.
