NOT SO MUCH!

I like the drawing I did of this image much more than this painting.  I wasn't really into painting today.  Interesting how it shows up in the work.  Well, they all can't be winners.  I do like how two of these colors look very textural on this paper.  There's always tomorrow.

You're way too critical. This one could definitely be part of a gallery show.

I'm with Kass on this one.

The pigment actually gives testimony to the years of endurance embedded in the face. It's not overly painted, allowing the drawing to dominate. Very nice piece!

Thank you Kass, Dan and Stan. I am fairly critical of proportion in my drawings. This one didn't quite make the mark. Working in ink keeps the challenge high and the rate of failure high but develops a sure hand eventually.

I was immediately struck by how pleasing this is. I think it's wonderful. I'm always impressed by true artistic talent, and you sure have it!

The proportion doesn't bother me, and I do like the painting. It is pleasing to view. On the other hand, it doesn't have the punch your others do. The contrast is not as bold as in your other paintings.
