I am challenging myself to work on my art every day and create a minimum of 2 finished pieces each week. My intention is to explore ideas and techniques and push myself beyond my comfort zone. I will be working in a series with several different images. My interests at this time are drawing, line, texture and color. I will be posting exercises and challenges for myself and any others who wish to join in the Creativity Journey.

I agree, the ink drawings have a wonderful feel for it! Beautiful drawing!
Oh to work as beautifully with ink! This is a wonderful piece, Myrna! Gorgeous country!
I like this a lot - you don't need color when you draw this well :) And your watercolor landscape is really beautiful.
Hi Rhonda, thanks for the nice comment. Line can be very expressive.
Thank you, Sherry
Thank you, Meera
Myrna I love both of your Ghost Ranch paintings. The ink"sketch" is fabulous. What wonderful souvenirs of your trip. One of the nice things about living in Albuquerque is that we get to go to Ghost Ranch every once in a while. Last year in April we hiked up to Chimney Rock, quite a feat for a 69 year old. I wish I had known you were in the area. I love your work.

Hi Sharon, Lucky you to live in such an amazing part of the world! Congratulations on hiking to Chimney Rock. It looks daunting! I was happy to view it from afar!
Your design and linework are enchanting myrna, i hope you are well. what kind of sketch book are you working on? It looks like really nice paper. happy painting!
Hi Georgia, Thank you for your kind comment. I don't know exactly what this paper is but resembles a parchment look. It doesn't take watercolor but I love working with ink on this paper. It is a bound book that I take on my travels. A nice way to store memories.
