CONTINUING WITH VARIATIONS!

Photo paper drawn with coffee stirrer using liquid watercolor and collaged paper cocktail napkins.  The surprise was the napkins were double ply and the second layer had like a ghost print.  A little busy but I like the overall combination of elements.

The strong textural aspect of this work nicely complements the strong attitude of your subject. This is a very striking piece!! I'm inspired by your ability to utilize ordinary objects in your paintings.

Oooo, this one drew me right in from your blog icon on my sidebar. Glad I came over to take a closer look - I LIKE THIS A LOT! Perhaps it's the design element that really gets me, and of course the well drawn figure, and the colors, and the texture - all things I always enjoy in your work. I once used those paper napkins (peeled the white bottom layer off) to decoupage a chair - still looks good!

Very good,Myrna! Such a fresh approach to art-making!One can so easily become an illustrator showing no creativity or originality...I'm guilty!
