I am challenging myself to work on my art every day and create a minimum of 2 finished pieces each week. My intention is to explore ideas and techniques and push myself beyond my comfort zone. I will be working in a series with several different images. My interests at this time are drawing, line, texture and color. I will be posting exercises and challenges for myself and any others who wish to join in the Creativity Journey.

STILL A WORK IN PROGRESS!
I only had a few hours to work on the painting today. It's frustrating when all the other "stuff" of one's life gets in the way of painting all day. I think if I painted all day, every day, I wouldn't enjoy it so much, but I was wanting to paint longer. It will probably be Monday before I can get any serious painting in again.
It's coming along nicely! Hope that all your distractions are fun ones!
ReplyDeleteCrikey, you don't give up easily do you! Well done. I'm, always inspired by your blog and as it happens I'm in the middle of repainting an entire set from last year. It is actually quite liberating to take a large brush of white and paint out something that has taken days, or to scrape off the tissue and start again. A kind of "Hey, I'm in charge of this" moment!
ReplyDeletethis is aweeesome!
