I am challenging myself to work on my art every day and create a minimum of 2 finished pieces each week. My intention is to explore ideas and techniques and push myself beyond my comfort zone. I will be working in a series with several different images. My interests at this time are drawing, line, texture and color. I will be posting exercises and challenges for myself and any others who wish to join in the Creativity Journey.

MY DIRECTORIAL DEBUT!
I purchased a wonderful little mini camcorder today and this is my first effort! I am excited about the possibilities. It will take me some time to fully understand how to do everything. Please share any helpful hints and/or suggestions for improving the quality. Also what other demos you might want to see. I am thinking I could video each drawing I do for the Drawn to the Mirror project.
Wonderful!!! I was mesmerized and could keep watching this over and over. Please make more of these!
ReplyDeleteLove it! What a great idea. I am truly becoming addicted to your blog. Hope to see many more of these.
ReplyDeleteFascinating and fast. I always enjoy your posts and the creativity you bring to your practice.

Myrna, that was a great little video! Always more interesting to see how something is done rather than read about it. Look forward to seeing more.
ReplyDeletewow, that was great...
ReplyDeleteThat was really cool! Thanks!!!
ReplyDeleteOK.. Myrna dear, you have impressed me greatly and your debut held my attention. Now for the questions you know I'll want answers to: what kind of video cam did you get and where, etc.? And when will be the next one posted..and very great idea. Something I've wanted to do but no camera so you are an inspiration.
ReplyDeleteYou make me want to make videos too! Nice to see how you ink with a twig. An inspirational post in more ways than one.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you put "Twig and Ink" on your drawing, I was trying to figure out what that new instrument was that you were drawing with. You are always opening doors of creativity to me.
ReplyDeleteIt was fun seeing you in action.
How fascinating to look over your shoulder while you are doing this fast drawing with a twig. I'll go and watch it once more!

Fabulous! Congratulations on your debut. Great success. Thank you for all that you give to us!!!
ReplyDeleteYou've made my day. thank you.
ReplyDeleteHow fun is this! I'm enjoying all your blog posts, but I liked hearing your voice and seeing you work. Was your original photo taken with Photo Booth?
ReplyDeleteThank you, everyone, for your enthusiastic response! I have answered most of the questions on my next blog posting, but in response to Sherry's questions about the photos. This photo and most of them were taken having my camera on the Gorillapod tripod and setting the self time on the camera. I was able to get some unusual angles this way.
ReplyDeleteFascinating. I feel like my grandson who is able to watch the Heavy Equipment Video over and over. I absolutely LOVE this.
