Hand painted tissue paper collage on white paper. Forgot to photograph before adding the drawing. Scaling the drawing to fit on a 6" square has proved to be an interesting challenge. I tend to draw on the large side and struggle a bit to fit it on the page.
Even without true eye color, the eyes in all these piece look so alive. Another wonderful work of art.
ReplyDeleteI just had to tell you how much I am enjoying your work. I look forward to every piece. I may not always like an individual piece, but I always find them interesting, and they are often provocative. As a series they are stunning and I enjoy your descriptions of how you make the backgrounds. The faces always seem to belong to the background they are drawn on.
