I am challenging myself to work on my art every day and create a minimum of 2 finished pieces each week. My intention is to explore ideas and techniques and push myself beyond my comfort zone. I will be working in a series with several different images. My interests at this time are drawing, line, texture and color. I will be posting exercises and challenges for myself and any others who wish to join in the Creativity Journey.

PLAYING WITH A NEW APP!
I read about a new application for the iPad so I decided to download it and see what I could do. It is called Sketch Club and I love how it gives the look of charcoal or conte crayon. This one is less complicated than some of the other drawing programs and I am finding it easier to figure out. Here is the first image I created in this program.
Neat!!! I love the look and your lines! may be I will sneak it on my dear hubby's ipad and see if I am any good with these apps :)
ReplyDeleteWow! I want an iPad. I suspect the results, though, have more to do with the artist than the equipment.
ReplyDeleteSo awesome! Are you getting the new iPad? I am hoping the prices of the "old" one will be reduced low enough for me to get one. I still have iPad envy for when you got your first drawing app. You should be doing commercials for them!
ReplyDeleteVery Cool Myrna,I am excited to see it in action.I bet the model would love to see this drawing of him,it really shows his physique.
ReplyDeletewow Myrna..really nice!
ReplyDeleteThis looks great! Makes me want an ipad :-)
ReplyDeleteWOW! This is fantastic!!! Right, I'm off to download it myself...
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing more iPad sketches from you, I am really impressed with this one.
You make technology look easy. I always think of computer art as the digital kind you see in the graphic novels. but drawing like you just did is very appealing.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!
