I am challenging myself to work on my art every day and create a minimum of 2 finished pieces each week. My intention is to explore ideas and techniques and push myself beyond my comfort zone. I will be working in a series with several different images. My interests at this time are drawing, line, texture and color. I will be posting exercises and challenges for myself and any others who wish to join in the Creativity Journey.

FOUR IN ONE
I have almost finished the YUPO painting yesterday while sitting at the Gallery Concord. I don't want to post it until it is finished. In the meantime, I did some sketches putting 4 different views into one composition. I grabbed a sheet of Tyvek and drew with the bleeding Pilot Precise V5 blue pen using my "magic drawing stick". The paper was on the floor and I sat in my office chair and drew away! Kind of funky but fun. Now I have to figure out where to go from here.
Love this! Great composition.
ReplyDeletecan't even imagine painting way down there from way up here.
ReplyDeleteInteresting composition. Myrna, you are just so creative -- love it.
ReplyDeleteHi Myrna! Fun drawing! It's interesting how you get multiple views to work together in one drawing.
ReplyDeleteQuite a breakthrough, me thinks, in the sense of composition. I'm curious to see the actual painting.
ReplyDeleteI envy you for being able to paint during your gallery sitting. I need absolute solitude when I'm painting - the birds at our backyard already know they're not suppose to twitter at such times...
Myrna, I just gawk at your lines! They are so sure and so unconventional. It looks like you don't lift your pen. And your faces are so intriguing. I can learn alot from you.
